The new LML Star 4T 200cc model is coming and it will complete the LML four-stroke range. The Star 4T 200 will be available in Classic, Glamour, Vintage and Prestige versions with 20 different colours to choose from. They’ll be on the European market from June, while starting in September the Star 4T models RS, GT, Bicolor and MAT will also be available.
The latest Star 4T represents the most powerful model in the Star range from LML, after the 125, 150 and 151 versions, and also provides some new design features. The restyling gives the Star 4T 200 even more of a vintage look, and improvements to the chrome trim have been made. Other practical updates include a more comfortable seat and more powerful rear and brake light.
The instrument panel gets a new gear change indicator and rear brake light indicator as well. The 200cc engine is made up of three separate carters and has 8.6 kW and 14.5 Nm of torque. The defining characteristic of the engine is its FAST (Flexible Air Suction Technology) air flow technology with a rubber tube that conducts air directly to the filter, meaning that the air filter won’t become blocked and the engine has more performance.
After seeing the Vespa PX officially launch its new challenge in the scooter segment, it was with interest that we also saw the LML Star products at the 2010 EICMA show. LML took its Star I and Star Electric concept to the show along with other models including: the Mat Series, Star RS, Star GT, Bicolor Vintage, Star Art and Star Corsa. They are a series of four-stroke and two-stroke scooters of mostly 125 and 150cc capacity.
The new Star 4T model was also present, as was the Star two-stroke restyling. The new Star 4T comes in 125, 150 and 151cc versions; with a four-speed manual gearbox it’s famous for its tubular chassis structure which has new improvements for this year, reducing vibrations and making for a safer and more comfortable ride.
The Star 2T could be considered the main competitor to the new Vespa PX as it has a manual gearbox and either electronic or pedal kick-start. The improvements this year on the Star 2T are mostly of an aesthetic nature with closer attention to detail of the finishings and it comes in three lines: Classic, Vintage and Glamour.
Vespa look-alike scooter from LML, the Star, has been presented at the EICMA show, seen in these live pics of the new Star 4T version. The four-stroke scooter is available in both 125 and 250cc versions, and is being marketed as one of the world’s most ecological vehicles, running 60 km on one litre of fuel.
The LML Star 4T also has a new frame structure to make it safer and more comfortable for city riding. The Star scooter cashes in on the very popular retro-look scooter market, and has three versions available in a huge range of colours: Classic, Prestige and Vintage. Check it out in the live gallery below.

We’ve got another day to check out a few previews of what the 2009 EICMA has in store, before it all kicks off tomorrow, and here is a look at the range of LML Star scooters that will be on display at the event.
LML is an Italian brand that will present its range of four-stroke scooters, which include 125 and 150 cc versions. The Star 4T range complements the 2T range and provides an environmental option in the scooter sector. The 4T models can do 60 km on one litre of fuel.
The new Star engine appears on a new chassis with greater comfort and safety, making for good city riding. The modern technology is contrasted with a recognisable, Italian retro style. The frame structure is based on steel tubes, solded together, making a stronger and more rigid monocoque frame than traditional ones.
