Roberto Rolfo returns to Moto2 with Technomag-CIP team

After spending a year in World Superbikes with Kawasaki Pedercini and finishing a disappointed 18th in the championship, veteran rider Roberto Rolfo will be returning to Moto2 championship in 2012 with Technomag-CIP.
Roby will be joining Dominque Aegerter, and the team will again be fielding a Suter as they have in the past two seasons. ‘Roby’ knows well the Suter MMX, as he helped develop the machine back in 2009 and in 2010 won the Sepang GP and a took a podium at Sachsenring on the Suter when he was riding for the Italtrans Racing Team.
Technomag-CIP will also be fielding riders Alan Techer and Kenta Fuji in the 2012 Moto3 championship who will riding TSR Honda’s
New sponsor and livery for Technomag-Cip Moto2 team

Moto2 team Technomag-Cip has picked up a new title sponsor and a new livery for the start of their 2011 season, fielding two times Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu and Dominque Aegerter.
At a presentation held in Switzerland, the team unveiled the new green (very Kawasaki like) livery on their Suter bikes and main sponsor CarXpert, (car repair shops) which is part of the Technomag group.
Alain Bronec’s team has very high expectations for the upcoming season, Sofuoglu who entered the team for the final two races of the season to replace the late Shoya Tomizawa is a sure podium contender, while Aegerter can easily be in the top 10.

Moto2: Kenan Sofuoglu confirmed with Technomag-CIP

After receiving several offers from Moto2 teams, 2010 Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu has decided to stick with Tecnomag-CIP Moto2 team next season.
The Turkish rider was called in to replace the late Shoya Tomizawa who tragically died at Misano, for the last two rounds of the season. His impressive performance at Estoril caught the attention of all the Moto2 team managers, but is was Technomag-CIP Alain Bronec who got him. Sofuoglu will be fielded alonside Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter, who who will continue to race for the Swiss team for a second season.
Sofuoglu qualified 5th in today’s Moto2 qualifying session at Valencia and was just three tenths off Toni Elias’ pole position.

Moto2: CIP Moto confirms Tomizawa and Aegerter

Another Moto2 team has confirmed their riders, Shoya Tomizawa and Dominique Aegerter have both signed up to ride with French Technomag-CIP team run by Alain Bronec.
Tomizawa raced this year on a Honda with team CIP –GP 250 team finishing 17th in the final standings, while Aegerter was with Ajo Interwetten in the 125cc series and was 13th. The nineteen year old Swiss rider has decided to move up to the new series because of his height and weight that are judged ‘big’ for the 125 class.
The Technomag CIP team alongside Italtrans STR (Roberto Rolfo and Robertino Pietri), Hayate (Ricky Carduz) and Kiefer Racing will all be using the Suter chassis on their Moto2’s.
