An Italian tour company, Motovacanze.it is planning an August motorcycle holiday in Romania taking in the wild landscape of the mountains, and visiting castles, monasteries and historic towns.
The motorcycle itinerary includes stunning natural scenery with a touch of culture, exploring the history of Eastern Europe and the mythical figure of Count Dracula. After starting in Budapest, the tour stops for a day in the Transylvania capital of Cluj Napoca, before moving south towards the historic towns of Alba Julia, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Brasov. The itinerary includes visits to the Hunedoara, Peles and Bran castles.
