Victory line-up for the year 2012

By Adrian

Gamma Victory 2012

American motorcycle manufacturer Victory showed up at the 2011 EICMA without actual new products but with a consistent number of upgrades of its existing models. The main thing is that they have equipped the whole range with the 106CI engine (which stands for 106 cubic inches, 1731 cc) including the High Ball, the bobber with huge ape hanger handlebars based on the Vegas model. Victory then offers a huge variety of new color schemes, some of which have been designed by renowned aftermarket company Arlen Ness: you can check them all out in our photo gallery.

The 106CI is a V-Twin engine with 4-valve overhead cam delivering 97 hp at 5,000 rpm and 153 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, and in 2012 all Victory motorcycles will use it coupled with 6-speed overdrive transmission and standard ABS. Besides, Victory’s Cross Country, Cross Roads, Cross Roads Special LE,Vision, Vegas and Hammer received some slightly modified ergonomics in an attempt to make the riding experience more comfortable.

2010 Victory Vegas limited edition

By Alison

2010 Victory Vegas Limited Edition

There will be a new Victory Vegas Limited Edition for 2010 for those wanting a power-cruiser with speed and power. Recently unveiled at the New York Motorcycle Show, it’s up for some hard competition with Harley Davidson, currently in some deep water over last year’s losses.

The Vegas Limited Edition is equipped with Victory’s Freedom V-Twin engine, now with 97 hp and about 150 Nm of torque. That’s plenty of pulling power from the bike, which could prove to be the fastest in the Victory line-up. Colours are Fire Ball Red, Competition Yellow, Pearl White and Turbo Silver, and other features are a colour-matched frame and swingarm contrasted with black forks and drivetrain.

The Victory Vegas Limited Edition costs about $15,999 US (approx. 11,400 euros) and can be ordered until February 15th. Only 100 will be made and certainly none of them will be coming to Europe, so we can just sit back and admire the photos.

Victory 2010 models

Pretty ladies and motorcycles are a winning combination it seems, as Victory Motorcycles releases its new range with a bikini-clad girl draped over the CORE concept bike. The CORE is a new rigid-frame concept for Victory, featuring a cast alluminium frame.

Other new bikes released include the Cross Country and Cross Roads models, equipped with 50-degree, V-twin engines of 1731cc. The Victory Vision model gets a few updates for 2010, appearing in four different versions with that same “Freedom” engine.

The Vegas model is also still in the line-up with redesigned riding position, including lowered seat and revised footpegs. It features a Freedom V-Twin air-cooled engine at 1634cc. The Kingpin and Hammer versions have been modified, featuring new details and colours.
