Victory Judge 2012: video and pictures available

By Adrian

Victory Motorcycles has introduced its brand new Judge model at the recent 2012 Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy, but the actual model wasn’t there. Apparently, they will proceed with the official unveiling of the Judge on European soil at a different event, but in order to help us to pass the time while waiting, the manufacturer has also decided to anticipate the unveiling by releasing an official video and a massive photo gallery of its new model.

The Judge is obviously a typical American V-Twin cruiser, but in comparison to the rest of Victory Motorcycles’ range, the new model sports a pretty distinctive 16″ 5-spoke wheel at the front that - in combination with its Dunloop tyres with white writings - somewhat brings to mind the very first American muscle cars. Other significant aesthetic features include a new round-shaped head lamp and LED technology for the rear, placed right at the end of the saddle on the rear mud-guard.

The model is powered by Victory’s signature 106 cubic inches (1,737 cc) V-Twin engine. The unit should be more effective on the Judge because of the riding position, which makes the bike more like a cruiser than a classic chopper. When defining bikes like this one, some people describe them as a ‘power cruiser’, or even ‘roadster’, but in case of the new Judge we would prefer to go for a more straightforward ‘muscle bike’.

Video: new Victory Motorcycles High Ball and Cross Country Tour

By Alison

This video presents the two brand new Victory Motorcycles models for 2012. The models have been added to the range to expand it and don’t substitute any previous models. A new Victory Edge program has also been developed which is a new quality and performance control system to ensure the customer gets the best product.

The Victory High Ball model already debuted this year, but hasn’t been on sale so far. It will hit dealerships from next year and has been built using the Vegas and Hammer chassis. It’s very much the retro bobber bike, with wide vintage-style tyres and high handlebars. Colours include options like matte black and it will represent the entry-level model of the cruiser range.

The Victory Cross Country Tour is a new version of the standard Cross Country, but is closer to a grand touring model, particularly in teh company of two. It has features like new adjustable leg protection fairing, large windshield and a spacious top case, and will appear in the range between the Cross and the Vision.

Victory 2010 models

Pretty ladies and motorcycles are a winning combination it seems, as Victory Motorcycles releases its new range with a bikini-clad girl draped over the CORE concept bike. The CORE is a new rigid-frame concept for Victory, featuring a cast alluminium frame.

Other new bikes released include the Cross Country and Cross Roads models, equipped with 50-degree, V-twin engines of 1731cc. The Victory Vision model gets a few updates for 2010, appearing in four different versions with that same “Freedom” engine.

The Vegas model is also still in the line-up with redesigned riding position, including lowered seat and revised footpegs. It features a Freedom V-Twin air-cooled engine at 1634cc. The Kingpin and Hammer versions have been modified, featuring new details and colours.
