
Ducati isn’t new to in bringing wine into their merchandising line, the Desmorosso was the first red wine that Ducati licensed, but during this year’s World Ducati Week, the Italian manufacturer introduced two brand new wines, the Piega (lean angle in Italian) the new Decanta 68.2 and the Otello Nero di Lambrusco in collaboration with Cantine Ceci S.p.A.
Both wines will be available and sold at the Ducati Caffe’ - the new concept restaurant and lounge bar located in Rome, where besides chilling out you can also buy Ducati clothing.
The latest news is that at least fifty thousand Ducatisti will be descending at the Misano World Circuit for the World Ducati Week that kicks off tomorrow, June 10th through 13th and one of the many events that’s being organized according to video is a flash mob.
Personally I’d prefer to see and hear thousands and thousands of Ducati motorcycles revving up at the same time than a dance routine.
Registration for the World Ducati Week is officially open for the best Ducati event of the year, taking place from June 10 to 13 at the Misano circuit. Ducati has redesigned its website, now featuring the new Multistrada 1200 as a background. The site has all the latest product, racing and accessory news in a dark, minimalist style with a modern look. It also currently features an introduction to World Ducati Week, to be featured in June 2010. It’s in the preliminary stages of planning, but is currently set down for June 10-13 at Misano. World Ducati Week is taking place in September 2010, which is a long time to wait if you’re a dyed-in-the-wool Ducati fan, but the week is set to be huge event for the company.
World Ducati Week is being held at the Misano circuit in Italy and will involve track sessions, evening parties and concerts, official rider appearances and stunts, motorcycle tours, factory and museum visits, vintage bike exhibitions and conferences.
