The 2010 Yamaha range gets updated with the arrival of the new XJ6 Diversion F model, completing the XJ6 and XJ6 Diversion family. It’s designed as an everyday, easy to ride sports road bike with contemporary design and functional style.

The full fairing gives a smooth, aerodynamic look and all-weather protection. The XJ6 Diversion F is equipped with a 600cc, four cylinder, liquid cooled engine for easy power and handling. The acceleration is responsive and with generous torque, it’s a nifty bike for the city, as well as being flexible enough for your weekend rides.

With its blend of performance, great handling and classic looks, you’ll want to ride the XJ6 Diversion F every day. Its 600cc liquid-cooled 4-cylinder engine has been designed for great torque for exciting acceleration, while the powerful t-disc braking setup ensures secure stopping. An ABS version is available too - perfect for wet climates. With lightweight cast wheels, large 41 mm diameter front forks and Monocross rear suspension, the XJ6 Diversion F delivers great handling and secure road-holding.

Yamaha is back with some big news for 2009, having presented their new XJ Diversion at Iwata, they’re relying on classicism mixed with modernity and a touch of sports comfort too.

This is never an easy operation to pull off but Yamaha is familiar with the challenge as in the 80’s it conquered more than one motorcyclcing heart, playing similar cards.

Given that the European market has an ever-increasing demand for medium-cylinder models, Yamaha isn’t wasting any time and is giving the two-wheel world a Diversion - or the new XJ6 Diversion. The bike has substance, and should win fans due to its racing look.

The bike is relatively lightweight and includes all the must-have aspects that have become essential in the sector of road bikes with a sports connotation: short but high tail, “hidden” exhaust and four cylinders from FZ6 derivation that favour torque.
