This has to be Yamaha’s best video yet and right up there to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. A Blast from the Past starring Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson, Colin Edwards, Cal Crutchlow, Ben Spies, Jorge Lorenzo and Fabio (??), what more can we say, except it is awesome.

Yamaha Motor USA has come up with another of their awesome video and this time it stars only Colin Edwards, but the Texas Tornado can carry any show by himself, whether be it in a press conference where he keeps journalists and fellow riders in stitches with his quotes or going all out on stage at Silverstone.

This time the veteran MotoGP rider does his own personal impersonation of Clint Eastwood’s Thomas Highway, putting two agents of the Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.) team through basic training at his own Texas Tornado Boot Camp.

Don’t miss the room that Edwards has especially reserved for Dani Pedrosa, if Spaniard should decide to head out to Texas and learn how to shoot a .50 cal and go full metal jacket on Marco Simoncelli.

Not to complain, but it was about time that Yamaha Motor USA’s marketing department come up with another of their fantastic and comical videos with their racing stars.

After a Day at the Office, and The Ben Spies Method, Team Texas in a mancation road trip, they’ve got AMA Supercross champion James Stewart, explaining what he did during his long road to recovery after injuring his wrist at the beginning of the 2010 season and he wasn’t sure he could compete again.

Maybe with this video, some supercross fans will give him a break after that open letter he wrote after the Unadilla races and regarding the Motocross of Nations, that pissed off a lot of people.

How can’t you love Yamaha Motor USA when they keep coming up with these fantastic and funny videos. Kudos to their marketing department and keep them coming.

Check out their latest, starring Team Texas, where an enthusiastic Colin Edwards and a reluctant Ben Spies go on a road trip for a little ‘mancation’ bonding.

The video’s got some inside references (crewchiefs and walls anyone?) and flashbacks to the previous Yamaha videos, and we think that Colin Edwards can definitely get into some sort of acting job once he retires from racing.
